MEETING DEMANDS

From our earliest days, Kuna has had a mandate to improve the health and safety of Alaskan communities. Few things improve the living conditions in communities more than access to clean, safe water. This led us to design many of the original water and sewer systems for the North Slope communities. We have continued our relationships with those communities and have helped them maintain, repair, and expand their systems. Kuna set up a training program to help certify local operators. We have helped plan, design, build, and operate some of the most remote and extreme water and sewer systems. The remote and harsh environments of many Alaskan communities make maintaining and operating water and sewer systems very difficult. We work closely with communities to match the processes and technologies with their needs and the realities of their environment. This ensures their systems can last for generations to come without being a burden. We work hand and hand with agencies and communities through identifying needs, planning, design, permitting, construction, and beyond.
