Suzanne has 20 years of experience with Kuna Engineering and has led Kuna’s planning group for the past five years. In 2019, Suzanne accepted the position of Marketing & Communications Director. A former public educator, Suzanne excels at client relations and stakeholder involvement. She has developed transportation, safety, emergency preparedness, economic and comprehensive plans for communities across Alaska and in the Lower 48. She is driven to assist Alaska’s remote and diverse communities to achieve their development goals, often assisting with grant writing, reporting and other funding procedures. Suzanne is an accomplished technical writer, providing quality control to the company’s other departments. Suzanne spends time several days a week in the pool at the local athletic club, considering herself to be something of an otter. She finished her first triathlon in May 2019. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys painting and her artwork is often on display at a local gallery.
